Welcome to The Graphic Food Girl! I love sharing recipes, food facts and book takeaways, and I want you to enjoy them safely. Here’s the fine print, kept friendly.

Not medical or professional advice

Everything on this blog is for general information and inspiration only. I’m sharing what I cook and what I’ve read; it isn’t medical, dietary, nutritional or other professional advice. If you have a health condition, allergy or special diet, please talk with a doctor or registered dietitian before making changes. And please don’t use anything here to diagnose or treat a medical problem.

Nutrition facts are estimates

The nutrition facts on my recipes are estimates, calculated per serving from USDA FoodData Central data. Your numbers can vary with the brands you buy, the exact ingredients you use and how big your portions are. Please treat them as a helpful guide, not exact values.

Allergens and ingredients

Always check ingredient labels and allergen information on the products you use, since recipes and packaged foods change. I can’t guarantee any recipe is free of a specific allergen, so please take extra care if you have a food allergy. You know your kitchen and your needs best, so please adjust recipes as needed and cook safely, following safe food-handling practices like cooking egg dishes and ground meat to the USDA-recommended safe internal temperature of 160°F.

Opinions, book takeaways and facts

Book takeaways, reviews and opinions on this blog are my own views. Facts and figures are shared in good faith, with sources where I can, but things change, so please double-check anything important. Brand names mentioned on this blog (like Starbucks or Dunkin’) belong to their owners, and I’m not affiliated with or sponsored by any brand unless I clearly say so.

Affiliate disclosure

There are no ads or affiliate links on this blog right now. In the future, some posts may contain affiliate links. That means if you click a link and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I’ll only recommend things I genuinely like or think are useful, and any post with affiliate links will say so clearly, near the top and before the links, in line with FTC guidelines. The same goes for sponsored posts and products I get for free.

Outside links and embeds

Some posts link to other websites or include embedded content like charts, plus social sharing and Like buttons. I’m not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and they may set their own cookies. See my Privacy Policy for more.

Using my photos and recipes

The recipes and writing on this blog are my own, and I design the graphics myself using Canva. The photos and some design elements come from Canva and from free stock sites like Pexels and Pixabay, used under their licenses, and those remain subject to their owners’ terms. You’re welcome to share a link, or one of my own graphics with credit and a link back, but please don’t republish full recipes, posts or graphics without asking first.
