Cheerful Chai

Intro

Chai otherwise known as tea is traditionally and predominantly grown in various parts of Asia. Tea is a very cheerful drink, it refreshes and removes exhaustion. It is popular world wide and goes with many fancy names. There are different types of tea, varying in taste, flavour and aroma. There's at least six type of teas produced based on how they are processed. Generally. flavouring agents like ginger, cloves, mint, cardamom and vanilla are added to the tea base and amp up the tea with aromas and flavours.

Usually made with loose black tea leaves and full fat milk and sugar. The recipe is quick ,easy and delicious. It is vegan, dairy free(using non-dairy milk) and flavourful. Don't forget to inspire and get inspired and leave a comment below.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Bring water to boil.

  2. Stir black tea or hang the black tea bags, cardamom pods and ginger.

  3. Microwave the oat milk for 1:30 min (stovetop: bring oat milk just to boil.)

  4. Strain the boiled tea in a cup and stir in maple syrup and oat milk.
